Alan Grover, O.D.

Alan Grover, O.D., M.Ed., B.S. is a graduate of  Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. Dr. Grover’s interest in Optometry goes way back to elementary school when his first Optometrist prescribed glasses for him. The profound impact left an indelible mark eventually leading to a career change. 

Immediately upon graduating Dr. Grover purchased a private practice in Tulsa, OK. He specialized in general optometry, specialty contact lenses, LASIK and cataract co-management as well as treating dry eyes, glaucoma, and a variety of medical eye conditions.

Being a natural educator, Dr. Grover enjoys serving as an adjunct faculty at NSUOCO where he loves working with Optometry Students. Another deep passion of his is mission work and he has served on trips to Honduras providing eyecare to those less fortunate.

Before pursuing his degree in Optometry, Dr. Grover utilized his other degrees in exercise and fitness as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist and health center manager. 

He and his wife Cat, have been married for 32 years. They are heavily active in their church and have two adult children who have successful careers of their own. Away from work Dr. Grover and his wife enjoy anything Disney related. Dr. Grover is an avid golfer and racquetball player. He and his wife relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 2019 and are thrilled to be in Fayetteville.
