Jessalyn Halsted, O.D. grew up in Harrison, Arkansas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR, where she was a collegiate athlete. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Halsted completed clinical externships at Vision Enhancement Clinic and the Missouri Eye Institute, both located in Springfield, Missouri. She also has her NBEO Injections certification and has been awarded the Clinical Honor’s Pass three times.
Dr. Halsted sees patients of all ages, but takes a special interest in primary and pediatric eye care. Her clinical expertise allows her to care for a wide range of eye care conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes related eye disease, amblyopia, and dry eye.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Halsted enjoys trail running with her dogs, spending time with family, and watching Bengals football. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the University of the Ozarks.
