Elissa Bostian, O.D.

Dr. Elissa Bostian is our Northwest Arkansas hometown girl, a native of Springdale and a University of Arkansas graduate, earning an undergraduate degree in biology. She then moved to the Alamo City and graduated from the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. After optometry school, Elissa was eager to return to her home community and give back to Northwest Arkansas through excellent eyecare. Dr. Bostian’s work has been recognized through many accolades including: the Registered Student Organization (RSO) Mission Award for the Class of 2013, six academic scholarships and was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa’s International Optometric Honor Society.

Did you know Dr. Bostian worked for McDonald Eye when she was an undergraduate student? Her work in our clinic helped spur her interest in eyecare, in addition to her father’s allied health career. Her goal is to provide quality, comprehensive eye care to residents of Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Bostian knows the importance of giving back to the community and volunteered with the Veteran’s Administration Eye Clinic, performed eye screenings for Vistacon and assisted with back-to-school screenings for Methodist Healthcare Ministries.

Dr. Bostian is married to Cary, her college sweetheart, and they have one child, Elijah. The Ozarks is a great place for the Bostians because of their love for the outdoors – camping, hiking and canoeing. When she can sneak away some time for herself, Elissa loves to escape with a good book.
