About the Position: The primary function of the Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician is to provide support for all MEA doctors (MDs and ODs) through direct patient care. These functions are related to patient workups and include diagnostic testing and scribing. An individual is responsible for performing extensive data collection functions delegated by the physician to allow for a proper professional diagnosis of patients’ conditions.

About the Position: The Surgery Counselor is responsible for scheduling surgeries and coordinating all aspects of the pre-surgery process, including patient education and communication with healthcare providers. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, medical professionals, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to ensure smooth surgical operations. About the Position: This individual is responsible for welcoming patients to McDonald Eye Associates (MEA) and treating all patients professionally and courteously.
